The Baseball Card King is looking to fill immediate full and part-time positions at all our locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION #1:
Will train. No experience required. Full and part-time openings. Your employment will involve numerous responsibilities, including greeting and assisting customers, accurately ringing up purchases, processing payments, answering phones, taking phone orders, stocking and straightening shelves and displays, cleaning restrooms when needed, vacuuming, light to moderate lifting (including bending and stretching to reach items), shoveling when needed, and basic cleaning duties (glass counters, windows, displays, etc).  Additional tasks may include sorting, pricing and filling cabinets with cards, pricing and hanging pictures, and directing customers during autograph signings.  You should be comfortable with using a computer (you will be trained to use our inventory software and Point of Sale equipment), including searching various sites for accurate card and memorabilia pricing.  You must have a good grasp of basic math to aid you in understanding how to balance the register.

JOB DESCRIPTION #2:
Will guide and oversee, but  experience is required. Part-time opening to start; depending on level of involvement, position may become full-time commitment. You will work out of our Plainfield offices exclusively. We are looking for a sharp-minded, experienced online expert. You will be responsible for continuous updates to both our informational website as well as our ecommerce site. You will also manage our social media accounts, eBay listings, and online communication with customers. You will need to know basic html coding. This position will start as part-time. The right person will develop it into a full-time commitment with expansion in mind.

JOB DESCRIPTION #3:
Minimal oversight, experienced professional only. Full-time. You will work out of our Plainfield offices, but may need to visit other locations depending on your assigned project. It will take a particularly exceptional applicant to secure this position. Your job will involve you in all aspects of the operation of this company as an administrative assistant. You will aid in accounts payable and receivable, marketing, human resources, payroll, bookkeeping, purchase orders, inventory control and security.  Additional details will be discussed with qualified candidates only.

We expect all employees to be clean and presentable at all times.  You must be able to be on your feet for many hours (sometimes the entire shift).
